SeismicStorms

SeismicStorms generates a map that displays significant wave height data and Secondary Microseism from different stations specified by the station list file. Significant wave height is obtained from the NOAA wave watch 3 models. Seismic data is obtained from the AEC database. SeismicStorms.py always generates a map 24 hours behind the current time. This is because the availability of wave models is constrained in the NOAA data server. This system is currently limited to Alaska.

Weather_map

weather_map creates a weather map of Alaska at the specified start time and end time. This code uses data from the AEC database. This includes temperature, wind magnitude, wind direction, and pressure. The plotting style is kept similar to meteorological standards.

EventImage is an earthquake visualization tool I developed for ISTI.
